When you bring an interim application, you must serve a copy of the application (and any supporting documents) on every other party at least three clear days before the hearing. “Clear days” means you do not count the day you serve or the day of the hearing. This rule ensures the other parties have enough time to respond and the court has notice to prepare. The court can shorten this notice in urgent situations, but the standard requirement is three clear days.
